International Women's Day

10 local women that are bossing it at business.

Ingrid - The Mallow Makers

I have worked with Ingrid over the last few years and its been super fun to capture all of her amazing creations. She really puts everything into her work and products and I am always amazed at her talent, from creating the tastiest marshmallows to branding her own business.

Erinn - Ivy & Gold

Erinn started making bracelets just before the pandemic hit and has grown Ivy & Gold into a thriving business. To create a successful business alongside being a full time mum is something to be very proud of.

Rebekah - Lines & Current

Rebekah was one of the first people I worked with when I started Native Ivy in 2017. It has been so lovely to see the growth and change in her business over the last 6-7 years. She has a real eye for design and creating minimal and meaningful pieces.

Clare & Laura - Irish Design Shop

One of my highlights from last year was capturing one of my favourite shops in Dublin. It was an absolute pleasure to meet these two amazing women who have created a very unique and wonderful shop that supports and promotes local makers and artists.

Rachel - Storybox

Rachel has a huge passion for local people and their products. She started Storybox to support and raise awareness of social enterprises and local businesses. Go on her website and create a unique box for a friend full of local products.

Jess, Molly & Emma - True Nature Retreats

These 3 amazing women have created a wonderful experience for people to go to ‘bring you back to your True Nature’. The space they provide over the course of a few days allows you to connect with yourself and others through Yoga, Breathwork, Wild Swims & Forest Bathing. I have been capturing this retreat for the last few years and its been amazing to watch them use each of their gifts and talents to create a space where people feel relaxed and refreshed.

Susanna - One Small Seed

Susanna runs her own flower farm growing and selling seasonal, sustainable flowers. Watching and capturing her work in her fields a few years ago was a lovely experience. The hard work and dedication it takes to keep on top of all the seasonal tasks was amazing. Susanna also provides workshops where you can learn to create your own bouquet.

The female talent we have in Ireland is unbelievable and it was difficult to only mention 10 women that I have worked with over the last number of years. We should be celebrating and supporting these women everyday and not just on IWD. If your female friends or family are running their own businesses shout about them, support them. share them. They deserve to feel all the love. Happy International Women’s Day!
